Connect Slack so Collabute can bring communication context into decisions and follow-up.

What you can do

• Search and summarize Slack conversation context.
• Pull channel/user/thread information for faster triage.
• Support communication workflows from meeting outcomes.

Connect Slack

1. Open Settings > Integrations. 2. Select Slack. 3. Click Connect and approve workspace authorization. 4. Return to Collabute and verify the workspace is connected.

Example chat prompts

• "Search Slack for launch blocker updates this week."
• "What are the latest messages in #product-ops?"
• "Show replies in this thread and summarize decisions."

Access model

• Slack is usually an org-level integration.
• Admins can set which roles can use Slack features.

Common issues

• No channels/messages returned: ensure workspace authorization includes correct scopes.
• Cannot access private channels: app access may be restricted in Slack settings.
• Access denied in Collabute: your role may be excluded by org integration policy.

Best practices

• Be specific with channel names, keywords, and time windows.
• Use thread links or context when asking follow-up questions.
• Avoid broad "search everything" prompts for faster results.
