Linear

Use Collabute with Linear to turn discussion into tracked execution.

What you can do

• Connect your Linear workspace to Collabute.
• Select default team context for issue workflows.
• Sync and review task context tied to meetings.
• Create/update/assign tasks from chat-driven workflows.

Connect Linear

1. Open Settings > Integrations. 2. Find Linear and click Connect. 3. Complete the authorization flow. 4. If prompted, choose your default team.

Team selection behavior

When connected, your admin can set a default Linear team.

If a team is not selected yet:

• You may see a prompt to select one in settings.
• Task workflows can be limited until default team is configured.

Example chat prompts

• "Show my overdue Linear tasks."
• "Create a Linear issue for this bug summary."
• "Assign this task to Sarah and set priority high."

Access model

• Linear is typically organization-level in Collabute.
• Admins can control which roles are allowed to use it.

Common issues

• Connected but no tasks: verify default team and workspace mapping.
• Cannot assign user: target assignee may not exist in the selected team.
• Access denied: your role is blocked by integration policy.

Best practices

• Set one default team per organization for predictable behavior.
• Keep task titles concise and action-oriented.
• Confirm due dates and assignees before execution.
